Department of Food and Nutrition

Our education graduate school in nutrition especially prepares students to provide food and nutrition education to children and youth in community or schools and to serve as resource specialists and curriculum developers in schools. The program combines the advanced study of applied food, nutrition, and nutrition education with the opportunity for students to broaden their expertise in courses of nutirtional assessment, life cycle nutrition, clinical nutrition, community nutrition, food science, foodservice, health statistics, food hygiene, meal management, functional food education, and food & nutrition seminars.

Education of Home Economics

The aim of our Education of Home Economics is to foster teachers and researchers of Home Economics. The teachers work at middle schools or high schools. Our Education of Home Economics emphasizes on teaching method and advanced course on consumer science, food and nutrition, and financial planning through practical application. Students learn to develop daily lesson plan and research methodology. Students are oriented to find a way to improve situation related to Home Economics.
