Vision and Goal

The vision of the department of Clothing and Textiles is to become one of the leading departments delivering professional and technical expertise to both the apparel industries and society. Our department also aims to provide students with an integrated, yet customized, quality education to prepare them for future careers in the global apparel industries.

The department of Clothing and Textiles offers professional programs that integrate theory and practice to foster experts in the fashion industry. The curriculum is designed to allow students to specialize in the design, production and marketing of textile and apparel products. By providing systemic teaching and training with a certain product-focused process depending on the student’s track, the student is able to develop holistic and realistic views of the entire spectrum of the fashion industry. Other basic education topics such as creativity, sensibility and leadership are encouraged to be practiced through extracurricular activities.
